Mixed Berry Glow Smoothie
Berries are a staple in mine and my kids morning routine. I add them to most all of our smoothies, oatmeal bowls or even as a side when we have things like almond butter toast or eggs. Berries are packed with fiber and antioxidants which supports glowing skin and gut health. I also love them because they are sweet but low in sugar. Plus, they are hydrating which is key to overall health.
This Mixed Berry Glow Smoothie is one of my favorites! It contains lots of fiber, adequate protein and healthy fats to support your energy. Plus, it contains lots of vital vitamins and minerals to support your natural glow from within.
What you need (serves 1):
¾ cup frozen mixed berries
1 servings of vanilla unsweetened protein powder (this is my go-to)
2 tsp chia seeds
1-2 tbsp almond butter
1-2 pitted dates
Optional handful of spinach for added greens
8-10 oz plant based milk like almond milk
Directions: Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a cup and enjoy immediately.
